Junior - American Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by an American composer.

Junior - Asian Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by an Asian composer.

Junior - Bach

Perform a selection by J. S. Bach from the approved syllabi at your current level of study. Teacher's discretion for Pre-Level 1 selection.

Junior - British or Australian Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by a British or Australian composer.

Junior - Canadian Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by a Canadian composer.

Junior - Études

Perform studies from the approved syllabi. Selections need not be memorized. Levels 1 & 2 perform one study; Levels 3-6 perform two studies. Note: Pop studies should be played in the Pop section unless permitted on RCM or CC exam.

Junior - French Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by a French composer.

Junior - German or Austrian Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by a German or Austrian composer.

Junior - Italian Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by an Italian composer.

Junior - List A

Perform any List A selection from the approved syllabi at your present level of study.

Junior - List B

Perform any List B selection from the approved syllabi at your present level of study.

Junior - List C

Perform any List C selection from the approved syllabi at your present level of study.

Junior - Mozart

Perform a selection by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart from the approved syllabi at your current level of study. Teacher's discretion for Pre-Level 1 selection.

Junior - Pre-Teen/Teen

For participants ages 10-16 studying at Levels 1 to 4. Perform one selection of your own choice at current level of study. Participants who enroll in this class are ineligible to enroll in List A, B & C classes. Use of music is permitted and the participant remains competitive. These classes do not advance to the Junior Piano Finals.

Junior - Recital

Perform two or three contrasting pieces from the approved syllabi at your current level of study. If three pieces are performed, one selection may be one level above current level of study. (Level piece must be played at Final). Performers will be assessed on selection and program arrangement as well as technique and interpretation. These selections may not be played in any other classes. Time limit: 15 min

Junior - Russian or Eastern European Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by a Russian or Eastern European (Romanian, Hungarian, Polish, etc) composer.

Junior - Scandinavian Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by a composer from Denmark, Norway, Sweden or Finland.

Junior - Sonatina

Perform a Sonata or Sonatina from List B of the approved syllabi at your current level of study.

Junior - Spanish or South American Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by a Spanish or South American composer.

Junior - Tri-County

For residents of Huron, Perth and Oxford counties only. Perform one piece from the approved syllabi at your current level of study (not above) Teacher's discretion for Pre-level 1 selection.

Intermediate - American Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by an American composer.

Intermediate - Asian Composer

Intermediate - Spanish or South American Composer

Perform a selection of your own choosing by a Spanish or South American composer.
