Chamber group - Provincial Qualifying

Perform two selections consisting of:
(a) at least two consecutive movements of a selection of your own choosing, and
(b) a contrasting selection which is not another movement of (a) above. Time limit: 40 min

Three (3) to six (6) performers, one performer to a part. (When piano is included, the piano part must be original, not an orchestral reduction.) Majority of members in the chamber group must study or reside in Ontario. Any combination of orchestral instruments including Harp, Guitar, Recorder and/or Percussion, with or without Piano, and/or one Voice may be included. Please state instrumentation on your entry. Memorization is not required. At Provincials, original scores must be used by the performers and provided for the adjudicator. Photocopies not permitted.

Family Ensemble - Instrumental

Perform one or two selections of your own choosing. Selections need not be memorized. Please indicate instruments on your entry. Any combination of Brass, Woodwinds, Strings, Piano, Voice and Percussion may be used. Time limit: 8 min

Family Ensemble - Strings
