2024 Syllabus - Brass

Provincial qualifying

Perform musically contrasting selections from the current editions of approved syllabi. Selections must be at the same level and at the level at which the participant is currently studying. If the competitor has passed an exam prior to December 31st, 2022 they cannot enter that level. For French horn, trombone and euphonium competitors, selections not listed in the approved syllabi will still be accepted if accompanied by a verification of grade/level from a local music teacher or conservatory of music. Please note, unlike the RCM and CC, all selections must be the same grade/level for the Provincial Competition. Memorization is not required but is highly recommended.
