2026 Syllabus - Voice Classical
Provincial requirements:
Solo Beginner-Primary Level: two (2) contrasting classical selections in any language. Opera, operetta and oratorio selections are not permitted. The maximum performance time is: Ten (10) minutes.
Solo Elementary Level: two (2) contrasting classical selections in any language. Opera, operetta and oratorio selections are not permitted. The maximum performance time is: Ten (10) minutes.
Solo Junior Level: two (2) contrasting classical selections in any language. Opera, operetta and oratorio selections are not permitted. The maximum performance time is: Ten (10) minutes.
Solo Intermediate Level: two (2) contrasting classical selections in any language. Opera, operetta and oratorio selections are not permitted. The maximum performance time is: Ten (10) minutes.
Solo Senior Level: two (2) contrasting classical selections in any language. One selection may be opera, operetta or oratorio. The maximum performance time is: Fifteen (15) minutes.
Duets & Trios: one (1) selection
Solo
Perform a selection in any language taken from the current syllabi. Songs may be transposed to suit vocal development. In classes separated into male and female, entrants are welcome to enter where they feel comfortable as we want to respect the individual's right to sing in any voiced category based on their identity.
