Criteria: Junior Choral Speaking
Hamlet Public School donated the David Strahan Trophy in recognition of David's contributions the the school's music program in his three year tenure there. Throughout his career, this popular teacher entered many choirs and choral speaking groups in the Kiwanis Festival, achieving excellent results.
David was one of the founders of the St. Marys Children's Choir and, later, the Perth County Youth Choir.
