This trophy was donated in memory of Marnie-Marie Isabel Otto who was tragically killed in a boating accident while on holidays in January 2004. Marnie had enjoyed a career as a hairstylist at A.J.'s and is fondly remembered by its staff and clientele.

Marnie had taken step-dancing lessons from Judy Nieberlein at Judy's School of Dance from the age of 4 to 14, so her friends at A.J.'s dedicated a trophy in her honour that recognizes Outstanding Dance Choreography at the Festival's Dance Competition.
